11.12.06 Hello all! This is Scott writing, with a few words from my heart...
This is going to be one of the final news entries from Ezekiel's Eye. Why? Well, there are times in life when God calls you to something, and when that job is accomplished in His eyes, He tells you that your task is completed and it is time for something new. I have always prayed, "Lord, let Your desires for my life be my desires" and this is how I know EE's time has come to an end. This is not in any way another band just “breaking up”; but it is a band whose purpose has been fulfilled and its members are now moving in different directions with a new mission.
We (Ezekiel's Eye) have seen the hand of God move in ways that we never thought possible. This month of November marks the ninth year since God gave me the vision and dream of this ministry and band. To me this was not just a band, but a dream, a mission, a commission. It has been a great journey and I have no regrets. That's what makes this the hardest decision I have ever had to make.
Ezekiel's Eye has ministered and performed all over this great country! To all of you who have supported us by coming out to a show, buying our CD's, praying for us, and just support in general, we want to say THANK YOU! You all have been a huge part of our hearts and lives and it is with great sadness that I have to say that the days of EE have come to an end, but yet it is with great joy that we have been able to be a part of your lives for so many years. We have truly enjoyed the journey!
I know that there are always questions when something like this takes place, so I will do my best to answer them as they come. All the members of EE are and will always be great friends. Dan is my brother-in-law, so of course I am stuck with him for life!
Shaun and Wheeler are going to continue to write and are looking for a drummer and singer. I am also continuing to write and will record some of my acoustic material – I will be posting it at myspace.com/scottcwilson, so if you would like, be my friend there.
Thank you again and please continue to keep us in your prayers. We are committed to move in direction that God leads.
As always, we would love to hear from you, so don't hesitate to write!
Scott, Dan, Shaun, Wheeler ~ Ezekiel's Eye ~ November 1997- November 2006

6.29.06 Check out our most recent pictures!!
6.19.06 We had an amazing time in Georgia. We must say Peachtree City is one of our favorite places to visit and play!
Two amazing shows and a hilarious time on J93.3's Late-Night Live pretty much says it all. This was also accompanied by a relaxing day at the pool...yes, Peachtree, we love you.
Now onto this weekend....EE has a great Florida Show coming up on Saturday, June 24th! The band will be in Fanning Springs, FL at JamStock '06 ! This will be an event you won't want to miss! Check out the great line-up and all the details here! We are really looking forward to this festival and hope you all can make it out!
6.7.06 Just wanted to let you what is going on this weekend with Ezekiel's Eye. We will be heading up to Peachtree City, GA (just outside of Atlanta ) to rock some stages. Friday night is Impact 2006 with Freshmen 15. We had a great time with these guys at GMA in Nashville, TN so we are looking forward to putting on a great rock show with them once again. On Saturday night EE will be playing with the band Open 24. Both shows should be a lot of fun! All the details, times, and locations can be found on the “shows” page of this site or our myspace page. So if you are in the Atlanta area, come on out and hang with us!
In any case, wherever you are, you can tune in to your computer at J93.3 after Saturday night's show and hear EE hang out with the J93.3 Late-Night Live crew from 9pm - Midnight. You could even call in and talk with us!
Peace! See you in Peachtree City this weekend! -Scott, EE
5.24.06 Now up on our Myspace page is a video clip of one of our many new songs - Where I Belong! It is taken from our performance last weekend at FMF! Hope you like it! Post some feedback on our myspace comments!!
Thanks to Dustin for filming (look for more video footage to come)!
And to Wheeler for getting it posted!
Also, you can now get all of our music from iTunes! Just go to our store page for that, and other great EE items!
5.16.06 A huge thanks to all who came out to our show at Cornerstone Florida!! It was so amazing to see the number of people who made us part of their day! The whole weekend was a great time and we loved hanging out with you guys!
We have another big Orlando show coming up this Thursday, May 18th
- the Florida Music Festival! Come out and rock with us at Cafe Annie's at 10:30pm. It is an 18 and up only show, so if you qualify, we would love to see you there. We have some people coming to check out the band, so your support on this show is especially appreciated.
One last thing...thanks to all who purchased Ezekiel's Eye music during our two week promo. Because of you, we are donating and shipping 360 CD's to our U.S. Troops as part of care packages provided by Operation Gratitude.
Thanks again to everyone. Please drop us a line anytime and add us as your friend on Myspace! Hope to see you at an upcoming show!!
Go to the shows page for an updated line-up!
4.26.06 We are doing something a little different to honor the men and women who are in the military and currently deployed overseas...
For every EP or CD that you purchase during May 1st – May14th through EE's online store (link to the left), Ezekiel's Eye will donate two CD's to the troops.
The music will be boxed up in care packages. By purchasing music for yourself or a friend, you are providing two troops some entertainment and encouragement. Thanks for your support of EE and those who have dedicated themselves to fighting for our country.
On an entirely different note, EE is still in need of a new drummer. See below...
...after months of prayer and waiting on God, Dan Powell (our
drummer) has made the decision to retire from Ezekiel's Eye. He has been a part of Ezekiel's Eye since he was 13 and now feels that God is calling him in another direction of his life. Dan has been all over the country with EE, playing many shows, and reaching out to many people. He has been one of the most valuable assets to this band as well as a great friend and man of God! We are very sad to see him go, but we know that God has great things in store for Dan and Ezekiel's Eye.
So with that being said, we are on the search for another drummer to fill Dan's shoes. Some of the things we are looking for are:
someone who loves God, has a passion for music, can drum on a professional level and has pro-gear, can practice in Orlando, and is available for touring. If you or someone you know is open to trying out, please feel free to contact us.
4.5.06 Just a quick
update to let you know a couple of things...
We had a great time in Nashville this past weekend and a great show at The Global Cafe. Thank you to Verge Artist Agency and all of their bands for having us be a part!
We are home now and excited to announce that we will not only be a part of Cornerstone FL (May 12 - 13th), but also the Florida Music Festival (May 18 - 20th).
We will let you know more details as they become available!

31.06 Hello to all of our great friends! We hope that everyone is doing awesome and that you are living the dream that God has put in your life. I just wanted to stop in and say hello and give you some news on EE.
We are going to be in Nashville, TN for GMA week. We will be performing at The Global Café on Tuesday, April 4th as guests at the Verge Artist Agency showcase. EE plays at 7pm sharp with some great bands and artists like Detour 180, Calls From Home, Freshman 15, Our Hearts Hero, Josh Wilson, and Carl Cartee.
We hope to see some of you guys there!
Next up on the list is Cornerstone Florida May 12th and 13th. We are playing on Saturday, the 13th, at 11am on the outdoor stage.
Please come out and rock in the morning with us. You all were so awesome last year when we played at 10am and we would love to see you all again this year. You have made us so happy with your votes for Cornerstone. As it stands right now we are at 105. Many thanks to all of you who helped get us where we are!
Our next tour is in the works right now. We are planning to hit the road in June, so keep an EYE out for us when we come to your city. We are looking forward to seeing some old friends and meeting new ones.
Let me leave you with a quote from a great man and friend, John Paone “Dream so big that you are doomed to fail without Christ.”
3.4.06 There are a couple of things on the mind of EE that we think you should know about...
First of all, we WILL be at Cornerstone Florida on one of the outdoor stages at 11am! Yeah, baby! In years past many of you have come out even earlier than that
to rock with us and we really appreciate it! So we are counting on you! We would
love to see you all out there rockin' the morning into existence with us!
And next, after months of prayer and waiting on God, Dan Powell (our
drummer) has made the decision to retire from Ezekiel's Eye.
Some of the things we are looking for are: someone who loves God, has a passion for music, can drum on a professional level, can practice in Orlando, and is available for touring. If you or someone you know is open to trying out, please feel free to contact us. We appreciate any leads!
2.22.06 This past weekend, we had the pleasure of hosting some guests from the Atlanta radio station J93.3. The station had a contest and the 7th person to call (when an Ezekiel's Eye song was played) answered a few questions correctly, and won tickets to Universal Studios. There was a group of five that came down - John Paone (from the 4 Nights in October Festival), Larry, Cherise, and the winners Jordan and Zack. It was fun having them around! We had an awesome time hanging out!
We still have our radio single going on out there, so give your local station a call and request "Run" to be played! And keep Voting for EE at the Cornerstone site!
In other news, if you watch American Idol, cast your vote for Chris Daughtry. We played a show last summer with Chris and his band in Greensboro, NC. He has an awesome voice and is a great guy with a passion for singing, God, and family. So remember to vote for Chris Daughtry as your next American Idol!
Last, but not least, check out
1.24.06 This Friday, January 27th, we will have our first radio single, Run! We are really excited about this release and the opportunity to reach out to more people with our music and the purpose behind what we do.
Soon specific stations and phone numbers will be posted here, but until then, please call your local station and request Run.
Also, we want to say a HUGE thanks to all of you who have voted for EE on the Cornerstone Festival site. Please VOTE FOR EE if you have'nt voted already. We are moving up the list and it is all because of you and your support for us. So again, thank you.
Don't forget this Saturday, the 28th, is the show in Orlando at the Back Booth with Audiology, Lucid Fly, and Day.
Check out the shows page for all the info. See you there!
1.10.06 Happy New Year!! We are so excited about this upcoming year and appreciate all the love and support we have received from you, our friends and fans, in years past! We know that this is going to be a great year for EE as we continue to reach higher, run faster, and press harder to see more lives touched and changed.
We know that this, too, can be a great year for you!
Keep in mind, "the choices that you make, they will tell your story". Big or small, our decisions will determine our outcome. "There is so much more!! What are you waiting for?"
12.29.05 New shows listed! New journal blog! Post on our Message Board! And please Vote for EE as a band you would like to see at Cornerstone '06 Florida and Illinois! Thanks!

One last thing, we now have a Message Board! So go ahead, register, and post!

The show will be at Rocketown on Sunday night, so if you are in the Nashville area please come out. We would love to see you there!
